Lori was born and raised Catholic in a small, rural Texas town, but it was not until she began a re-catechesis in the Catholic faith in 2015 that her spiritual journey began to unfold. Two years later, she had a profound, life-changing encounter and within a few weeks, she was on a plane headed to the Holy Land. It was on that pilgrimage Lori received the calling to lead and organize group pilgrimages. A short time later, Amazing Grace Pilgrimages, LLC was formed. ​

To date, Lori has organized over 100 pilgrimages, and the AGP pilgrimage community continues to grow by leaps and bounds, with dozens of repeat travelers. She works with parish priests and group leaders from all over the United States, including Steve Angrisano.

 

Lori's passion for faith-based travel, hospitality, education, and love for people, is evident through engaging, fun conversations with her (preferably over a glass of red wine) and feedback from those who have been on pilgrimage with her.

Lori has been featured in many news and media publications, including The Facts, Guadalupe Radio Network, The Catholic Herald and The Lighthouse. Her international travels include Australia, Israel, Jordan, Greece, Mexico, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Liechtenstein, Ireland, Tahiti, Guam, Bahamas, St. Marteen, Grenada, Aruba, Anguilla, Grand Cayman, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Lori holds a MA degree in Educational Leadership and Management. Her background includes being a classroom teacher, an educational trainer for a major publishing company, an educational group travel leader, and a flight attendant for Continental Airlines.

 

Lori resides in the Houston area with her wonderful husband of almost 25 years and their golden doodle. They have three grown children.
